Cast Iron Waffle Iron with Long Handle
Bring some fun to your open fire or outdoor cooking with this cast iron heavy duty waffle iron. And not just for waffles, waffle irons are great for hash browns, grilled cheese sandwiches, crispy bacon, quesadillas, sliced apple, and for those on a Keto diet, there's 'Chaffles', a mix of cheese and egg. Traditional waffle mix is easy to prepare, just blitz together the following ingredients:-
1 egg
225g self raising flour
250ml milk
50g melted butter
The heavy cast iron head has a large 17.5 cm diameter head, and is sectioned into 4 triangular waffles perfect for sharing...but only if you want to share! The handle is also made of iron and has a chrome plated finish, all finished with two turned birch wood handles with hanging loop attached. The main iron head is mounted on a 62cm handle allowing you to keep a nice safe distance from open flames. If cooking on an indoor fire, make sure you're only cooking on 'wood', and not coal.
