Tubeless technology of a new dimension: Schwalbe's new Pro One will win you over from the first pedal stroke, with a focus on speed, grip and safety. The tyre also provides easy rolling flexibility.
This newly developed high tier road tyre was developed from scratch and is available as Tubeless, TT and standard Clincher.
With the Pro One Tyre the goal was to develop a fast, lightweight and safe tyre which at the same time offers maximum flexibilty. It's a tyre which quickly and accurately responds to a cyclists riding style and always provides sensitive feedback. All this means the rider gets less fatigued and can achieve greater performance.
The new turn-up construction integrates Tubeless Easy Technology in the most progressive way possible. Two carcass layers underneath the tread renders the tyre smooth, comfortable and puncture-resistant, while three lateral carcass layers ensure high cut-resistance.
With the new Super Race construction, we are also setting new standards in suppleness - no other carcass glides so silky smooth over the ground, and thus providing traction, like Super Race does.
The patented turn-up construction is characterized by an exceptionally light and supple material mix. The tread is protected by a light protective insert and two carcass layers.
The V-Guard Puncture Protection is made of a specifically developed hi-tech polymer fibre that is also used for bullet-proof and stab-resistant vests. It provides excellent protection from cuts and punctures, and at the same time, it is extremely lightweight. Neither the rolling resistance nor flexibility of the tyre are compromised by the V-Guard.
The Addix Race compound is a completely new composition. Addix Race is a multi-compound made of the most innovative and highest quality polymers. As silica filler contents were increased significantly, the mixing process also had to be fine-tuned. Various specific blends are used for the centre and sides respectively. This increases the grip during cornering, without compromising rolling resistance or durability.
